In today’s Sport for Business Interview, we are joined by Peter Smyth, Head of research at Sport Ireland to talk through some of the findings from the numbers on physical movement and activity during the lockdown.
We are now more active than at any point since records began to be taken and we compare admirably to Britain with our 52 per cent of an active population to the right level versus only 32 per cent across the water.
Perhaps most impressively our level of adults classed as sedentary has crashed from 22 per cent to only half that number.
