In this week’s Sport for Business Podcast we are chatting with Hannah Dingley, Head of Women’s and Girl’s Football at the Football Association of Ireland.

As a coach she made history become the first female manager of an English Football League team with Forest Green and now she is trying to make a difference for the generations yet unborn that are coming to football in the years to come.

We have an international team that has made it to a first world Cup, a domestic league that is growing in stature and a well of enthusiasm as deep as you could hope for.

We talk about the new strategy that she has just launched and how that might be executed over the next couple of years, and how it integrates with the overall approach to the sport.

And we also find out about her growing affection for Ladies Gaelic Football and more…

SPORT FOR BUSINESS PERSPECTIVE

Strategy is at its best when it supports the work being done and the ambition being expressed of those on the ground delivering a service to footballers who want to play.  Hopefully the new strategy will be seein in that light and will be an important next step.
