Daniel Cleary

Daniel Cleary is an executive with Shamrock Rovers, covering retail, ticketing, administration, and stadium announcing duties.

He has been involved with the club in various capacities since a young age.

Since becoming a full-time staff member in the summer of 2024, he has been instrumental in driving significant growth in the club’s ticketing, merchandise, and commercial revenues.

“His impressive style and demeanour are akin to those of a seasoned sports administrator, and he excels in diverse environments,” said his nomination.

He made an outstanding contribution to delivering UEFA Conference League football in 2024/25, expertly navigating UEFA’s demanding requirements.

He is the club’s voice on Match Days in Tallaght Stadium and fulfils the same role for the Republic of Ireland Women’s National Team and the U21’s when playing at the ground.

Daniel is about to Graduate from UCD with a BA in History and English.

Nominations for 2025

So, who do you work with that has shone over the past twelve months and deserves recognition as they rise through their career?

It could be someone you work alongside or someone in another area you have admired or been impressed by.

Criteria

The criteria for submission are that the person should be working within the sports industry or in a sponsorship or agency capacity that brings sport to life and that they should have been born in or after 1995.

You are invited to submit names and a summary of why an individual should be recognised below.

We will be naming one new 30 Under 30 individual in our Sport for Business Morning Bulletin from Thursday, March 20th, 2025

In May, we will gather once more in the offices of PwC to meet in person, share experiences, and forge valuable connections.

We will also examine additional ways to help those nominated enhance their careers and build strong friendships across the sector.
