This year’s One-Zero Start-up competition will offer one hopeful startup the opportunity to pitch their business to a syndicated community of over 700 athletes, investors, and sportstech entrepreneurs, part of the Players Impact network.
Taking place in the Aviva Stadium on the 19th-20th of March, One-Zero is set to welcome over 500 attendees from 100 different companies to discuss all things sports, innovation, and business.
In 2022 the global sportech industry had an estimated worth of over $22.5 billion (€20.7 billion). The same report forecasted an estimated growth of over $60 billion by 2032.
Aside from the keynote speakers and panel discussions featuring some of the biggest names in the global business of sport, the start-up competition is an important part of the event.
This year’s competition will see sportstech startups compete against each other for the chance to pitch to The Player Impact’s rapidly expanding global community, of professional athletes, entrepreneurs and investors.
Associated with some of the industries most recognisable names, TPI will offer the winner a chance to pitch to over 700 potential investors including Tracy McGrady (7x NBA All-Star), Lonie Paxton (3x NFL Super Bowl Champ, New England Patriots), and Gabby Douglas (Olympic Gymnast and 3x Gold Medalist)
One-Zero’s judging panel of industry experts and seasoned entrepreneurs will evaluate the startups based on their market potential, scalability, originality, and potential impact on the sports industry.
