We were joined on Sport for Business this morning by Paralympic swimmer Nicole Turner and Head of Commercial at Paralympics Ireland Trevor O’Rourke to discuss the Next Level Fundraising campaign.
Trevor explains why it is so important in the short and the long term, while Nicole explains how the Covid lockdowns kept her out of the pool for three months, and how she has been handling living in Portarlington and training in Dublin, as well as taking time out from school to pursue her dream.
The segment runs to twelve minutes and provides us with realm insight into the need for additional fundraising as well as the importance of recognising Paralympic athletes for the elite stars they are.
