Getting sport back after the first phase of the global Covid lockdown was a major logistics operation.

The primary focus was on the health of those taking part among players and officials, even in the absence of tens of thousands of fans.

We were joined on Sport for Business by Professor Denis Kinane, the co-founder and Chief Medical officer at Cignpost Diagnostics, the company employed by the European Tour to bring back golf in the summer of 2020 and to keep it going through the second and third waves of infection.

There were many different challenges to be met and hearing about it from the inside gives us a fascinating behind the scenes look at some of what it has taken to date to get sport back.

We also explore where things are going with the return of fans and the impact that will arise as the numbers of those vaccinated climbs ever higher.
