Each weekend we take a look back on the sporting highs from across Ireland and around the world through the medium of numbers.

The number of ‘E’s’ in Caoimhín Kelleher’s name. Unfortunately, that did not make it through to the Liverpool FC backroom team who produced his Premier League debut shirt without the one in the middle. To be fair, with number 62 on the back they might night have considered him a likely starter but having kept a clean sheet in the Champions League in midweek that had to have been a possibility. Anyway, when he came out for the second half, all had been set right.

Sergio Perez had driven in 189 F1 races before yesterday, and while he had made it onto the podium on nine occasions he had yet to win one. 2,000
