The Sporting Year Ahead is one of the keynote events of the Sport for Business Year and will take place on the morning of January 26th at the RDS in Dublin.

We will be joined by speakers who will be playing a key role in the delivery of sport in Ireland and across the world over the next 12 months.

Below is the full lineup of speakers who will be guiding us through the highlights of the year ahead.

Vera Pauw, the manager of the Republic of Ireland Women’s National Team will be joining us for a keynote one-to-one interview on stage with Rob Hartnett.

It has been an incredible year for the Dutch manager as she has captured the hearts of the Irish sporting public while at the same time battling to bring abuse she suffered as a young coach in her home country to account and getting shamefully caught up in the crossfire of a US report into coaching abuses in the United States.

All of these elements go into making up the fascinating individual that she is and we will do our best to bring her story to life as we preview the biggest sporting events of the year and more.

Larry McCarthy, the President of the GAA, would be another of our key speakers. Elected to the position in 2020 he moved back from New York in the throes of Covid and has overseen the bounce back of the Association from the world of lockdowns, the launch of the Tailteann Cup, and the publication of a new Strategic Plan.

Our third Keynote interview will be with Padraig Power, Chief Commercial Officer at the IRFU who will talk about the Guinness and TikTok Six Nations Campaigns and the build-up to the Rugby World Cup in France in September.

We will share a deep dive into aspects of the Teneo Sport and Sponsorship Index that will make us all a little smarter about the ways in which sport and sports marketing can score real impact in the wider general public.

Our popular knowledge bursts will return as well bringing us up to speed on major events that will capture the attention in the next 12 months.

Among those organisations that will be joining us are:
