We will be live this morning with the latest of our Live Webinars, this time looking at the subject of Third Level Sport in 2021 – An Uncertain Future.

It promises to be a vibrant discussion about an area that is of major concern and significant importance.

Our panel to discuss the way things are and the potential way they will develop over the coming months includes Michelle Tanner from Trinity College Sport, Nigel Dobson from Ulster University and Catherine Mahoney representing Student Sport Ireland.

In advance of the session, we have gauged the views of those attending on two key questions around the confidence on whether sport will take place in a meaningful fashion in the current academic year and how high up the priority list sport is in the wider education context.

We will reveal the results and the breakdown across Universities, Institutes of Technology, Sporting Bodies and Sponsors at the beginning of the session.

Some places are still available and will be up until we close registration at 0930. Register Here

The session will run from 10 until 11 and we will have an open meeting for 30 minutes straight after if people want to stay on, just like having a quick coffee after a real-life event.

So far we have over 50 individuals registered including representatives from Queens University Belfast, DCU, Student Sport Ireland, Trinity College Dublin, Limerick IT, UCD, UL, IT Carlow, Electric Ireland, the GAA, Ladies Gaelic Football Association, FAI, the National College of Ireland, TU Dublin, Athlone Institute of Technology, UCC, Ulster University, the IRFU and UPMC.

Sport for Business sessions in person or online are designed to move the conversation along and explore ways in which we can engage better together.
