
The bank has always made good use of the strong number of its staff that play at the highest level and the launch of this year’s programme on Tuesday was attended by Kieran Donaghy and Darran O’Sullivan of Kerry, John Gardiner and Sean Óg o’Hailpín and stars from Galway, Down and Donegal.
The benefit is apparent in the mainstream media this morning with Darren O’Sullivan and others interviewed about last year’s final and giving reason to carry news of the sponsorship and the ticketing arrangements.
The Ulster Bank deal follows the Supervalu and Centra ticket sales initiative in tieing the brands much closer to the event than merely through a branding exercise.
