Minister Leo Varadkar will be addressing the future funding of sport in Ireland as keynote speaker of the second annual conference of the Federation of Irish Sport at the Guinness Storehouse later today.
He will be joined by Hugo MacNeill of Goldman Sachs; a predecessor as Minister for Sport, Bernard Allen; and developer and Chairman of St Patrick’s Athletic Garrett Kelleher.
A second panel will consider the role of Sport in Irish society and include inputs from Brendan Kenny of Dublin City Council, Irish Rugby Captain Fiona Coghlan, Keith McCormack from Failte Ireland and Andy Reed, Chair of the UK Sport and Recreation Alliance.
