Vodafone and KFC have been announced as sponsors of the live and free-to-air coverage of Rugby World Cup 2023 on Virgin Media Television and RTÉ.
The two broadcasters have partnered to ensure that all 48 games of the Rugby World Cup are free-to-air in Ireland.
The action gets underway this evening Friday, 8th September, and runs right through until the final on Saturday, 28th October.
Most of the games will take place over weekends with as many as four games being shown live back to back on some days.
Ireland’s opening game is on Virgin media at 2-30 on Saturday 9th September. The games against Tonga, South Africa and Scotland will also take place on Saturday’s each with an 8 PM kick-off time.
We will bring the different stings that the two brands are using, as well as a review of the other brands that are advertising in game across the Rugby World Cup over the duration of the tournament.
