Vodafone Ireland has launched the return of its See Your Business Pitchside competition, giving small and medium-sized business customers the opportunity to see their brand in lights at the Aviva Stadium during this year’s Autumn Nations Series.
Two winning SMEs will each receive a prize package worth over €25,000 in media exposure, including pitchside and digital screen advertising during Ireland’s home games against South Africa and Australia.
With over 50,000 fans in attendance and broadcast coverage across RTÉ and TNT Sports reaching international audiences, the initiative offers businesses a platform few could otherwise access.
The competition, previously known as Bring Your Business to the Big Screen, is designed to highlight Ireland’s thriving SME sector.
Vodafone Ireland is a technology partner to six in 10 Irish businesses, and the initiative reflects its commitment to championing small firms.
“As the connectivity and technology partner to many Irish businesses, we’re proud to further champion them through initiatives like our ‘See Your Business Pitchside’ competition,” said Joanna Gilfoy, Director of Vodafone Business.
“For many past winners, this exposure has led to growth and new customers from across the globe. It’s just one of the many ways we support SMEs to help them thrive in today’s connected economy.”
The list of past winners includes JANDO, Lotts & Co., The Farmhouse, SOS Cookies, and Hazel Mountain Chocolate.
For JANDO, an award-winning Irish print company, the impact was immediate. “It was truly surreal to be there, seeing (and hearing!) our brand at the Aviva,” said co-founder Owen McLoughlin, recalling their pitchside presence during Ireland’s clash with New Zealand last November.
“Sharing that unforgettable moment with our family was nothing short of magical—and the marked increase in sales and customer requests that followed was incredible. The exposure from Vodafone’s advertising package was a real catalyst for growth in our business.”
In addition to the pitchside presence, this year’s winners will receive two VIP match tickets and an invitation to the team’s Captain’s Run event on the eve of the fixture.
Entries are open from August 18th to September 19th, 2025, with winners announced the week of September 22nd.
Vodafone has been the primary sponsor of the IRFU since 2016 and continues to use its partnership to deliver benefits to customers under the #TeamOfUs banner.
It will be the sponsor of RTÉ’s coverage of the Women’s Rugby World Cup starting on friday night and has produced this advert supporting the Irish team.
Next year will mark 25 years of Vodafone in Ireland. The company, which employs over 2,000 people directly and indirectly, was recently named Ireland’s best mobile operator for the tenth consecutive year by independent benchmarking firm umlaut, also securing awards for reliability and voice services.
