Vodafone Ireland Business has this morning announced a new three-year partnership with Leinster Rugby.
The new partnership will see Vodafone Business solutions rolled out across the club’s technology infrastructure to enhance training and remote working experiences by connecting management, players, coaches and staff, across multiple locations.
Vodafone Business is working with Leinster Rugby to understand their needs and provide solutions across their mobile, fixed, wireless and cloud portfolios.
The new partnership is an extension of Vodafone’s main partnership with Irish Rugby and comes on the back of a new partnership announced last month where they took over as the principal partner of the British and Irish Lions.
They join a strong portfolio of businesses that are backing Leinster including fellow Sport for Business members Bank of Ireland, Energia, Guinness, Lifestyle Sports, Laya Healthcare, BDO, Beauchamps, Off The Ball and Independent News and Media.
“Technology plays an increasingly important role in society, business and sport,” said Sinéad Bryan, Vodafone Business Director.
“My team is excited to work with Leinster Rugby, to understand their technology needs and to help them achieve their connected ambition.”
“Our ambition in Leinster Rugby on the field is matched by our ambition off the field and the announcement today of a three-year partnership with Vodafone Ireland is further evidence of that desire to only work with the very best sponsors and partners to help us achieve our goals,” added Kevin Quinn.
“By partnering with Vodafone Ireland, we are aligning ourselves with a company that understands the Irish sporting and rugby landscape extremely well through a number of high-profile partnerships over many years. We are very excited to see where this can take us both in the coming years.”
