Vodafone Ireland have unveiled an exclusive technology partnership with Munster Rugby.
The partnership will see the rollout of Vodafone Business solutions across the organisation to connect supporters, sponsors, players, coaches and staff.
Vodafone will partner with Munster on their digital journey to grow the Red Army on a global scale and create an interconnected fan base.
“Munster Rugby is a team, but also a business that requires first-class digital support to enhance performance on and off the field,” said Vodafone enterprise director Regina Moran launching the partnership at the University of Limerick yesterday.
“We are delighted to partner with them and enable their digital journey with our innovative business-centric solutions.”
“Vodafone works with organisations like Munster Rugby to match their strategy and goals with the best technology, and this partnership is a great example of that.”
“They are a small business that wants to grow internationally, but also an organisation with a lot of moving parts, travel requirements and employees based in different locations — so connectivity, agility and mobility with the technology to enable them are essential for success.”
“We are delighted to partner with a leading global technology brand such as Vodafone Ireland,” added Munster’s head of marketing Doug Howlett.
“Aligning our strategic goals with Vodafone’s innovative business solutions will not only improve Munster Rugby’s connectivity but also enhance the organisation and brand.”
Munster Rugby’s strong family of commercial partners includes Bank of Ireland, Pinergy, Lifestyle Sports, Clayton Hotels, Marks and Spencer, Adidas and Guinness so it’s not a bad network to show off what tech solutions Vodafone can deliver.
A good deal all round.
Munster Rugby Acting CEO Philip Quinn will be a guest speaker at Sport for Business Cork, a gethering of sporting and business leaders from across Munster at the Metropole Hotel in Cork on Tuesday, February 12th. To find out more and how you can reserve a place, click here.
