UEFA has opened the volunteer portal for this year’s UEFA Europa League final as the countdown for the final in Dublin begins.
The final will be held at the Aviva Stadium on Wednesday, May 22. It will require a significant volunteer force to help stage one of the biggest sporting events in Europe.
There are many different areas in which to volunteer around the match including in the Fan Zone, Ceremonies, Media, Ticketing, Hospitality, Administration, Operations and more with a broad range of skills required to be a part of the game.
“Volunteering is a great way to get involved and be a part of what should be a historic match in Dublin,” said Paul Martyn, UEFA Volunteer Manager.
“The UEFA Europa League final is one of the biggest sporting events in the world and to host any event of this size, we will need a great volunteer force to help people come and enjoy the occasion in Ireland, and make the match an event to remember.”
“There is a great culture of volunteerism in Ireland, it is at the core of our wonderful sport and exciting opportunities like the UEFA Europa League Final don’t come around too often. The Céad MÃle Fáilte from our volunteers through engagement and participation will greatly enhance the match-day experience for the tens of thousands of supporters who will descend on Dublin in May.”
To volunteer, you must be 18 or over on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, with the volunteer portal open on the UEFA website this morning.
