Waterford GAA has announced that their Dungarvan stadium will be renamed Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field.
The company is headquartered adjacent to the stadium which has hosted club and county matches in all four codes of Gaelic games in recent years.
The deal is the latest in a number of county ground naming rights deals headlined last year by SuperValu Pairc Ui Chaoimh in Cork.
The deal is a multi-year partnership and represents “a significant milestone in securing a sustainable financial future for Waterford GAA,” said County Board Treasurer Kieran Geary.
“We are thrilled to welcome Capppoquin Logistics as the new naming sponsor of Fraher Field,” added Waterford GAA chairperson Neil Moore.
“This partnership is more than just a naming rights deal. It represents a shared commitment to the community, to tradition, and to the future of Waterford GAA.”
“The support from Cappoquin Logistics will play a vital role in ensuring the continued development of our games, our players, and our facilities.”
”As a company deeply embedded in the local community we are proud to lend our name to a venue that holds such significance for the people of Waterford and beyond,” said Cappoquinn Logistics Managing Director Thomas Kiely.
