It’s difficult to know what to call a collection of hashtags but maybe a ‘hotchpotch’ would have felt appropriate after a fairly wide ranging appeal for social media users following Leinster Rugby and Lifestyle Sports’ #WeAreMany event last night.
Ian Madigan, Eoin Reddan and Sean O’Brien were doing a live audience session at Lifestyle’s Grafton Street store and the team were posting plenty of images and quotes from the event on twitter.
They wer co-mingling with other conversations around the British Labour Party’s internal struggles around new leader Jeremy Corbyn and a US movie about the Gulf War which is being promoted for a potential Oscar.
Whether left wing politico’s in Liverpool or anti war protesters in Lexington are likely buyers of the Leinster kit or proud supporters of the province is open to question but it certainly made for an eclectic timeline.
