Congratulations to Sport for Business member Wilson Hartnell who have been shortlisted with four campaigns in the 2020 SABRE EMEA Awards, the most prestigious in the world of public relations.
Two of the campaigns are directly sport related, for Along Came a Spider and the Federation of Irish Sport’s 20X20 campaign and for the Guinness Six Nations.
The other two campaigns are for Janssen and Smithwicks.
The SABRE Awards is the world’s largest and most prestigious PR awards programme, recognising superior achievement in campaigns that demonstrate the highest levels of strategic planning, creativity and business results.
Wilson Hartnell’s success comes against an entry of 600 campaigns across Europe, the Middle East and Africa in this year’s competition
“In these trying times, it is good to be reminded about life before COVID-19 and this news has put a huge smile on all our faces,” said Sharon Murphy, Wilson Hartnell CEO.
“The Sabre awards is a highly prestigious event and the largest PR awards programme in the world. We are delighted to see so much of our client work recognised at an EMEA level. It is a great testament to the quality of our team and the great partnerships that we have built up with our clients.”
The 2020 EMEA SABRES were originally scheduled to be presented at an annual awards dinner in Paris on the 28th May. That event has been cancelled due the coronavirus pandemic and the organisers are exploring various alternatives, including a virtual awards presentation. An announcement is expected shortly.
