The judges have been locked in deliberation and we have decided on a very worthy winner of our special ’emergence’ competition with the team at Atomic Sport to win a free rebrand for a sporting organisation.

It was a tough decision to make with the quality of entries highlighting the fact that enthusiasm and a willingness to improve have not been dimmed in any way by the lockdown and the lack of sport over the past three months.

In true teaser fashion we will be announcing the winner in a special edition of the Sport for Business Daily Digest tomorrow morning and we hope you will join us to find out which organisation is about to embark on the journey of a brand new look.

The judging panel consisted of Patrick Murphy – Director @ Atomic Sport; Rob Hartnett – CEO @ Sport for Business; Eamonn Hall – Principal @ Eamonn Hall Graphic Design; Orla Strumble – Head of Marketing @ Irish Greyhound Board; and Anne McCarthy – Marketing Brand Manager @ Sport Ireland.

In a series of zoom calls we picked apart each of the entries and gradually whittled it down to a shortlist of three.

Any one of them would have been a worthy winner and we can now look forward to following the journey of the winner’s emergence into a new brand identity.

We hope it will be transformational, that the work which will go into creating an identity will give rise to insight into the organisation, how it is seen from the outside and how it sees itself developing in the coming years.
