The excitement is building for next week’s KPMG Women’s Irish Open at Dromoland Castle.

Sport for Business is proud to be an official media partner of the event and we will be there through the week taking part in a number of events and sharing news and activities from the course.

The tournament is being held in Ireland for the first time in a decade thanks to the engagement of Dromoland Castle as host, KPMG as Title sponsor and Forefront Management as the event promoter.

With Leona Maguire heading the field and live TV coverage around the world it promises to shine a bright light on County Clare and the stunning setting in which the golf will be played.

Details of the Event Village have been revealed where there will be a charity putting course, a Golf Ireland presence and a Sports Direct retail outlet.

Sports Direct are one of the event partners having first made contact at the Sport for Business Women in Sport Conference in the Aviva Stadium last May.

They are joined on the partnership roster by Amundi, sponsors of one of the five Majors in Ladies Golf, Fáilte Ireland, Sport Ireland, the Shannon Airport Group and plenty more.

Breast Cancer Ireland is the official Charity Partner and they are running a special promotion this week where if you make a minimum donation to the charity here you will enter a draw to be made this Friday to win a three-person team to play in next Wednesday’s Pro-Am.
