The Irish Women’s Gymnastics team kick off competition this morning 2nd May in Rimini, Italy at the 2024 Artistic Gymnastics European Championships
Senior gymnasts Blathnaid Higgins, Emma Slevin, Halle Hilton and Lily Russell start the qualification rounds for their competitions at 9am Irish time, while Junior gymnast Mimi Moloney’s qualification begins on Friday 3rd May at 2.30pm Irish time.
The Senior Championships will be shown live throughout on Eurovision Sport with the Finals taking placeon Saturday and Sunday.
The venue is the same at which Rhys McClenaghan secured a third European title last weekend.
Full Competition Schedule:
2nd May from 9am – 11.05 (Irish time) – Senior Qualification – Subdivision 1 beginning on Floor Exercise
3rd May from 2.30pm – 4.35 (Irish time) – Junior Qualification Competition – Subdivision 3
4th May from 3.25pm (Irish time) – Senior Women’s Individual Apparatus Finals
5th May from 9am (Irish time) – Junior Women’s Individual Apparatus Finals & Senior Women’s Team Final from 2pm (Irish time)
