The two remaining rounds of this year’s Guinness Women’s Six Nations Rugby tournament will be played on the successive Sundays of October 25th and November 1st.

Scotland against France and Ireland against Italy were postponed from March and will take place on the first Sunday, while the three matches scheduled for Round 5, including France Vs Ireland, will take place seven days later.

The Championship will conclude with the remaining Round 3 match between Italy and Scotland on 6th December 2020.

The Ireland Italy game will take place at Energia Park in Donnybrook, with a 1 pm kick-off. The game against France will be held in Villeneuve D’Asque with a 30 minute later start time.

It is not yet known if fans will be permitted to attend either match. Both will, however, be televised live on RTÉ Sport.

Defending champions England are currently top of the standings on 19 points with four wins from four, with France their nearest rivals on 11 points with two wins from three.

Ireland currently sit third in the table with two wins while Italy, Scotland and Wales make up the remaining three places in the table ahead of the restart.

“Despite the ongoing challenges presented by COVID-19, we have been at all times absolutely determined to conclude this year’s Six Nations Women’s Championship,” said Six Nations Rugby CEO Ben Morel.

“While we will remain vigilant in the current fast-changing environment, we are nonetheless delighted to announce this schedule.”

“We are really looking forward to some exciting rugby and fantastic matches in the weeks ahead. I want to thank all involved in making this possible from the players, unions staff to our commercial partners.”
