Galvin Adds to Growing Team

Dublin Ladies Footballer, Nicole Owens and International Sprinter Phil Healy have become the latest stars to sign up to the expanding roster of talent being represented by Galvin Sports Management, a long-term member of the Sport for Business Community.

Owens was part of the Dublin team that won the TG4 Ladies Football Championship in 2017 and their first League title this year. An advocate for positive mental health, she has spoken openly about her own challenges and the vital part that sport played in her journey.

23-year-old Phil Healy, from Ballineen, in West Cork has the accolade of being Ireland’s Fastest Woman in what is an exciting time for female sprinting in Ireland. Over the past two months, she has set a new 100m Irish record of 11.28 and a 200m record of 22.99.

Galvin Sports management represents five athletes set to compete in the European Championships taking place this month across three sports, track and field, diving, and para Swimming.

Olympians Thomas Barr (400m Hurdles) and Ciara Mageean (1500m) with Irish Record holder Phil Healy (100m & 200m) are Berlin-bound for the Athletics Championships, while Olympic diver, Ollie Dingley will compete in Glasgow and Ellen Keane has the honour of competing in her home town of Dublin at the Allianz Para Swimming European Championships starting on August 13th.

Nicole Owens will continue her campaign with the Dublin Ladies Football team when they will face Kerry at the quarter-finals stages of the TG4 Ladies Football Championship.

Sports Psychologist Kate Kirby and Sports Physiotherapist Roisin McNulty who is also Head of Performance on the Cirque du Soleil touring show, OVO have also joined the GSM speaker line-up in what is an exciting time for Galvin who previously worked as Head of Marketing at Athletics Ireland and as a consultant with Wilson Hartnell PR.
