A new training centre based on the administrative side of running a sports club is to open in Dublin next week.
My Club Finances which provides online systems for membership, lotto, fundraising and club management is expanding from its current base in Galway and will be opening the new facility on Dublin’s Harcourt Street.
“It’s a digital world and we help clubs come to the best way for them of managing services that are to be found online,” said My Club Finances CEO Warren Healy.
“The new facility can hold up to 24 people and is kitted out with all the latest technologies.”
“It will enable club representatives to develop their knowledge, and learn how to harness the power of our system to ultimately benefit their own club.”
“Training sessions will cover topics like communicaton strategies, interpreting reports and using social media effectively, as well as managing the club’s online lotto or membership details.”
“As the demographic of online shoppers, information-seekers and browers climbs steadily upwards, it’s crucial that sports clubs are prepared to cater for this changing reality.”
