Sport Accord 2014The line up of speakers at next month’s European Sports Tourism Summit has been completed by the addition of Lars Lundov, the Chief Executive Officer of Sport Event Denmark to the roster.

Sport Event Denmark is Government based and has a global reputation as being a leading model for countries of our size who wish to make a concerted approach to attracting major sporting events.

With expertise and know-how Sport Event Denmark offer Danish hosts advisory and agency services as well as vital financial support.

Lundov has been at the head of Sport Event Denmark from its creation focusing on international relations within the International sports world and bidding for major International sports events.

Sport Event Denmark has secured over 250 international sports events for the country including a wide range of World Championships, European Championships, World Cups and major International sports congresses.

These have included the IOC Session & Olympic Congress 2009, the UCI World Road Championship 2011, the UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2011, the CEV European Volleyball Championship 2013, the LEN European Short Course Swimming Championships 2013, the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships 2014 and the BWF World Badminton Championships 2014.
