Superbowl 50We wil be glued to the Super Bowl next Sunday but through the medium of our screens rather than in person.  For those lucky enough to be touching down in San Francisco to enjoy the full experience, we have tracked down a useful primer on what the stadium delivers in terms of technology, apps and seat delivery.

The stadium wifi operators are expecting two and a half times the traffic that was generated at last year’s Super Bowl despite the fact that the stadium capacity is lower.

If you are visiting the Levi’s Stadium for the first time the app will guide you to the nearest toilet or the shortest bar queue using technology similar to that by which Google map works on smart phones.

It’s a vision of the future for how all stadia will be in the future, including Croke Park and the Aviva Stadium.
