Life Style Sports opened the doors to its fully refurbished and state of the art store in Galway Retail Park this week in an event which doubled up as a celebration of the achievements so far this season of the brand sponsored Connacht Rugby.
Ultan Dillane, Finlay Bealham, Kieran Marmion as well as Bundee Aki, Tiernan O’Halloran, Matt Healy, and James Connolly were joined by members of the ‘Connacht Clan’ supporters club, Spin 103.8 DJ Daniella Moyles, top Galway fashion blogger Nuala Gorham, Galway Footballers Fiontán Ó Curraoin and Tracey Leonard, Galway hurlers Joe Canning and Jason Flynn and Galway United’s Armin Aganovic to celebrate the new store opening.
‘Instagram influencers’ Rob Lipsett, Sarah Godfrey and Siobhan O’Hagan were also present turning the opening into a veritable social media feast and highlighting the growth in importance of fashion in sports wear as opposed to it being all about boots and jerseys.
The new state of the art store covers 8,500 square feet with four dedicated zones – the Boot Room, Run Club, Trainer Central and Women’s Studio.
The major brands featured include adidas, ASCIS, Canterbury, Converse, Nike, Ellesse, Under Armour and New Balance.
There is a Boot Testing Zone; a caged astro turf testing ground to ‘try before you buy’ and a high tech Gait Analysis Lab to determine the best kind of running shoes. for each customer.
