UCD will host the final Olympic Repechage event for Women’s Rugby 7’s this weekend and Sport for Business will be helping to kick off proceedings with a special sell out event tonight at Railway Union Rugby Club in Sandymount.
We will discuss the prospects of the teams taking part with Irish team manager and Director of 7’s and Women’s Rugby at the IRFU Anthony Eddy, Tom Tierney Head Coach of the Irish Women’s 15’s Team, John Phelan, Head Coach of the Kazakhstan 7’s team and Irish International players Ciara Cooney, Lindsay Peat, Cliodhna Moloney, Susan Vaughan and Emma Murphy.
It promises to be a great night of insight and fun ahead of a weekend that could see an Irish Women’s team win through to the Olympic Games for the first time in history.
