Guinness PRO12 Commercial Director

Launch of the 2016/17 Guinness PRO12 Season 23/8/2016As part of a major restructuring of the Guinness PRO12 to achieve significant growth objectives under a new strategic plan, there is now an opportunity for a Commercial Director to join the management team at their Dublin base.

Reporting into and working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Martin Anayi, the Commercial Director will have overall responsibility for all Guinness PRO12 commercial and marketing operations and revenue generating activities.

This will include identifying new sponsorships and partnership opportunities as well as overall responsibility for the promotion strategy for next May’s Guinness PRO12 Final at the Aviva Stadium.

Lifestyle Sports Team Sports Category Marketing

Caragh Dawson, Liam Rushe, Paddy Andrews and Nicole Owens 20/7/2016Life Style Sports are looking to appoint a Category Marketing Manager for team sports.

Reporting to the Marketing and Visual Merchandising Director, person successful in securing this role will have responsibility in three key areas.

  1. To partner with cross functional internal teams across buying, e-commerce and brand marketing to develop annual category marketing plans for rugby soccer and gaelic games which deliver increased sales, reinforces brand positioning and drives a point of difference for the Life Style Sports business.
  2. To work closely with the buying and senior management team, develop a clear articulation of Life Style Sport’s competition differentiation and positioning for each category
  3. Drive greater Consumer understanding & market insight

There will also be a close relationship with the Sponsorship Manager in making the most of sponsorship relationships with Leinster and Munster Rugby and Dublin GAA.

It is a senior role with ten years of experience in a fast moving marketing department being held up as an ideal requirement as well as an interest in consumer insights, innovation and project management.

Camogie Association Finance Manager – Maternity Cover

Katie Power celebrates at the final whistle 11/9/2016The Camogie Association is looking to appoint a Finance Manager to join its national office in Croke Park. This is offered for a 13 month maternity cover contract. The position may be filled on a 4 or 3 day week working arrangement.

The Finance Manager will report to the Ard Stiúrthóir (CEO) of the Camogie Association. They will lead the development of the Association’s finance function, including managing and interpreting financial reports to advise and support the development of Camogie. The post operates in a team environment and will be expected to work in a collaborative way with staff and volunteer colleagues.
