The World Para Swimming Allianz European Championships have agreed a deal with the Sport Ireland National Aquatic Centre which will add to the appeal of attending the event taking place in the last weeks of the Summer holidays.
The price of their #Dublin2018 ticket will be taken off the price of entry for the AquaZone Waterpark, enabling children and adults to take to the water themselves straight after watching the very best of Europe’s Para swimmers in action.
Ireland hosts its first ever major International Para Sporting event from August 13th-19th, with Ireland’s 8 person team the first Irish para-athletes ever to compete in front of a home crowd as they bid for European glory.
The success of Ireland’s Paralympians at London and Rio has been one of Ireland’s greatest ever international sporting achievements and this is an opportunity to recognise the achievement of the competitors and to be genuinely inspired by what they do.
The event takes place at the Sport Ireland National Aquatic Centre where over 1 million people visited in 2017.
