At Noon Irish time, Judy Reynolds and Vancouver K will enter the arena as the first pair to compete in the Dressage World Cup.
She will do so on a horse called Vancouver K owned by her parents, her Father Hoe being the Chair of Horse Sport Ireland.
Further afield and even earlier in the morning in the HSBC Rugby Sevens World Series Qualifier, Ireland got their Series underway looking to qualify for the 12 team World Series.
It started well this morning with a 26-0 win over Jamaica. Uruguay is on later this morning followed by Russia tomorrow for a place in the Quarter Finals.
The Irish team is sponsored by Sport for Business member Intersport Elverys and we wish them luck through the weekend.
Action from both world events on different sides of the globe can be seen via streaming on the official tournament websites
