Basketball Ireland has secured a new sponsorship deal with Frank and Honest Coffee.
The nationwide brand, owned by Musgraves and available through Supervalu and Centra stores have been announced as the new sponsors of Ireland’s U18’s men’s national team.
The team was promoted to Division B for this summer’s European Championships which will take place in Romania between July 26th and August 4th.
“We are delighted to announce the new sponsorship of Basketball Ireland’s U18’s team,” said Frank and Honest’s Marketing Manager, Rosemary Walsh.
“Basketball is one of the fastest growing and most exciting sports in Ireland. Frank and Honest wish them the best of luck in the upcoming European Championships.”
“We are delighted to welcome Frank and Honest as sponsors of the Irish U18 Men’s team,” added Basketball Ireland’s Commercial Manager, Conor Meany.
“Frank and Honest fits really well with our basketball team as it’s a young and growing brand and we can’t wait to share the journey to the U18 European Championships in Romania with them.”
The brand will appear on the front of the shirt and it is likely that there will be a strong social campaign around the partnership and the Championships.
The announcement yesterday attracted over 6,000 likes on Instagram.
