The Dubai Duty Free Irish Open is underway this morning at Lahinch in County Clare and the pictures being broadcast to the world over the coming days are already looking spectacular.


Yesterday’s Pro-Am tournament was won by Jon Rahm and his team. Rahm is one of the 12 players from inside the World’s Top 50 that are taking part this week.
There was a strong showing from the worlds of sport and entertainment yesterday. Niall Horan and Jimmy Nesbitt were showing off their skills while Paul O’Connell and Keith Wood from the world of Rugby were a big draw, as were Tony McCoy and Ruby Walsh, two of the greatest jump jockeys that Ireland has ever produced.
Tickets for the weekend are almost sold out, Sport for Business will be at the course tomorrow, as guests of Sky Ireland, and reporting on both the sport and the commercial operation around the course.
