Joymo, the Sports technology and Live Streaming Company that has signed a deal with Basketball Ireland has now doubled down on Ireland with the appointment of Dublin based agency Fifty-Three Six to boost awareness of its services.

Based out of Oslo in Norway the company looks poised to be a major winner in the more distributed model of live sports streaming given impetus by the restriction of crowds from attending live events.

It provides a cost-effective means for clubs and teams to live stream and record for playback games in which they are involved.

A number of matches we were involved with in the Dublin Camogie and Ladies Football Championships were attracting thousand’s of live viewers from all around the world.

Joymo adds the capacity to monetise the streams through micropayments for watching and for sponsorship. Basketball Ireland have signed up to make the service available to 25 clubs across the country.

“Joymo is the platform for the modern-day sports landscape,” said CEO Mike Emery.

“We offer sports clubs, at all levels, the opportunity to stream directly to their fans and members. Now, more than ever, sports provide an outlet for people and a connection to community.”

“In these difficult times, when it is harder to physically watch your local team, we want to enable that connection and empower clubs through our technology.”

“We are delighted to partner with Sports Marketing specialists Fifty-Three Six, who will help us achieve that across our digital channels over the next number of months.”

“We are delighted to be partnering with Joymo, who we believe are the future of sports streaming,” added Tom Fox, Co-Founder at the agency.

“Their platform is truly ‘direct to consumer’, allowing clubs to take ownership of their content and for fans to never miss a moment.”

“We are excited to bring this message to the UK and Ireland and to help Joymo drive growth in the market.”
