Hello and welcome to Sport for Business.  Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about us.
Our ambition in the coming months and years is to create an
environment where the passion of sport and the power of business can be brought
closer together, for the real benefit of both.
Sport sprinkles magic across our daily lives.  Whether it is the spirit of our local club or
the heroics of local stars on a global stage, sport makes us come alive.
In workplaces the contacts made through sport can often be
the ones that are most valuable, both at a personal and a professional level.
What we will do is make those contacts easier to build.  We want to strengthen links that already exist and identify new ways in which sports organisations and clubs can reach out effectively to business and develop new streams of income and support.
We will identify ways in which sport and business are working in smart ways around the world and make them relevant to Ireland.
We will raise questions, and try to provide answers on how sport can develop approaches to sponsorship and fundraising that will give business the confidence to invest, and subsequently generate a strong return on that investment.
Through a weekly 16 page electronic magazine, published every Thursday, and a weekly podcast, published each Tuesday, as well as club nights, seminars and networking events, we will build a community of leaders, just like you, who want to foster better sport and build better business in Ireland.
