Heineken has signed up as a premium sponsor of the UEFA Women’s Champions League and the Women’s Euro’s taking place in England next Summer and again at a yet to be determined venue in 2025.
The Champions League sponsorship will be in place for the first time in the forthcoming season and run through to 2024/25.
Heineken has been a long term partner of the Men’s events in both but has now added the Women’s events which are sold separately.
The additional sponsorship deals have also been added to by the brand, a member of Sport for Business, taking on a partnership with the W Series, the single-seater motor racing championship for female drivers.
Heineken 0.0 will be the brand to the fore in each of the partnerships.
“These new multi-year deals with W Series, Uefa Women’s Champions League and Uefa Women’s Euro 2022 and 2025 enable us to create even more world-class experiences to enhance the sports that fans love,” said Heineken Global Sponsorship manager Julia George.
“We know that fan passion is not determined by gender, but by coming together over the love for the sport and the world-class athletes. That’s why we are proud to announce extensions to our partnerships in football and motorsport.”
