Four Division One and Four Division Two teams went into the pot for the GAA Football Championship Qualifiers this morning and all four from each came out against each other.

That will make for two dramatic ‘win or go home games’ featuring last season’s All Ireland finalists Tyrone and Mayo having to face strong opposition away to Armagh and at home to Monaghan.

The other two games will feature Mickey Harte taking his Louth team to face Cork in the rebel county and Meath also trekking south to face Clare in Ennis.

The games will be played on the weekend of June 4th and 5th and the winners will then face the losers from the Provincial Finals being played next week.

Armagh beat Tyrone by six points when they met in the Allianz National League earlier this year, in a match where five players were sent off.

Mayo edged past Monaghan in Clones in their League meeting though the sides were never separated by more than a single score.

RTÉ Sport will have coverage of all four Provincial Finals next weekend with Kerry facing Limerick and Dublin in Croke Park against Kildare at 3 PM and 5 PM on Saturday, followed by Galway against Roscommon at 1-45 PM and Derry against Donegal at 4 PM on Sunday.

With Leinster in the Heineken Champions Cup Final and Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League Final as well as a host of other top-class sport, it promises to be some weekend.
