Amundi, Europe’s leading asset manager with almost 400 staff working in Ireland, has been unveiled as a Premium Partner of next month’s KPMG Women’s Irish Open taking place at Dromoland Castle from September 22-25.

Amundi is a major force in Women’s Golf as the title sponsor of the Evian Championship, one of the five women’s majors, and the sponsor of seven women golfers around the world.

Its partnership with the Women’s Irish Open is a significant coup for the event, which is returning to the Ladies European Tour for the first time in ten years.

“We are proud to be the exclusive asset management partner of the KPMG Women’s Irish Open,” said David Harte, CEO of Amundi Ireland.

“Professional golf in Ireland is at an all-time high at the moment, so the return of this Ladies European Tour event is timely and we are delighted to be a part of it.”

Amundi has supported women’s golf since 2011 and the company has pledged its long-term commitment to the game, highlighted by its support of European women golfers over the next five years to enable them to succeed on the international scene.

Many of those European stars will be in action at Dromoland Castle in September where home favourite and LPGA Tour winner, Leona Maguire headlines the field.

With more exciting player and partner announcements expected in the coming days, and a €400,000 prize fund behind the event, the KPMG Women’s Irish Open promises to be a real highlight on the Irish Autumn sporting calendar.

This will be a welcome return for the tournament which boasts previous winners including current Solheim Cup Captain, Suzann Pettersen, England’s Laura Davies and the 2021 Solheim Cup winning Captain, Catriona Matthew.
