Athletics Ireland has announce adidas as the new official kit supplier for Irish athletics.
This new chapter of collaboration will strengthen the already rich history shared by the two sides and underscores adidas’ commitment to supporting athletics in Ireland.
The new partnership will come into effect from January 1st 2025, and will see adidas supply Athletics Ireland with a full selection of teamwear and performance apparel for all international competitions.
The deal has been struck with the global brand as opposed to local agencies and is on a much bigger scale than anything Athletics Ireland has enjoyed in the past.
“Athletics Ireland is delighted to welcome adidas on board as our official kit supplier from 2025, a partner that very much aligns with our own values of integrity, inclusion, respect, and excellence,” said CEO Hamish Adams.
“This new long-term sponsorship deal comes at an exciting time for our sport, and we look forward to working with adidas as we build on the success of recent years.”

The unveiling of the new bespoke adidas kit which will be worn by Irish International athletes at all major international athletics events including European Indoors, World Indoors, and World Outdoor Track and Field Championships will take place early in 2025.
SPORT FOR BUSINESS PERSPECTIVE
The success of Irish athletes on the global stage in the past Olympic cycle has been noticed around the world. Rhasidat Adeleke has a personal sponsorship deal with Nike but that is not unusual in the sport. In Paris 2024 Adidas sponsored eleven national teams including Team GB, Germany, Turkey and Cuba.
