AIB is to host a special AIB Club House Experience, showcasing the power and passion of Camogie and Ladies Gaelic Football at Croke Park this weekend.
With AIB Club Championship finals in both codes taking place in the stadium across December 14th and 15th, the AIB Club House will create an immersive and inclusive matchday environment celebrating the players, their dedication to their sport, and the rich history of club Camogie and Ladies Gaelic Football.
It promises to be a special experience for fans and the wider community.
The Senior Ladies Football final sees defending champions Kilkerrin-Clonberne (Galway) come up against final newcomers Kilmacud Crokes (Dublin) in a repeat of last season’s All-Ireland semi-final.
The Galway club will be hoping to make it four-in-a-row while their Dublin rivals will be aiming for a first AIB Ladies Football All-Ireland Senior title.
Competitive
Both teams feature numerous inter-county players, and following impressive campaigns this season, a highly competitive final is anticipated this Saturday, December 14th at Croke Park (5pm).
The Intermediate final is equally compelling, pitting Annaghdown (Galway) against Bennekerry/Tinryland (Carlow) in the opening match on Saturday, December 14th in Croke Park (3pm). Annaghdown won a hard-fought victory to reach the final with a three-point win over O’Donovan Rossa (Cork) while Bennekerry/Tinryland had a similar three-point 4-6 to 1-12 win over Mullahoran (Cavan) to reach the decider.
The Junior final will take place on Sunday, December 15th, in Parnell Park (2pm). The Junior decider sees Mungret St Paul’s (Limerick) come up against Na Dúnaibh (Donegal). Mungret St Paul’s had a nail-biting semi-final win over Coolera/Strandhill (Sligo) to reach the final. The match, which ended in a draw, was decided on free kicks with the Limerick club winning 3-1. Na Dúnaibh booked their spot in the final following a close win over Kilcock (Kildare) on a scoreline of 1-7 to 0-07.
Also on Sunday and back at Croke Park, Sarsfields of Galway will look to win their fourth AIB All-Ireland senior club title in what will be their eighth final in nine years, against Clare’s Truagh-Clonlara.
