Crusaders FC has extended its long-standing partnership with leading Irish ticketing technology provider, Future Ticketing.
The North Belfast club, which first partnered with Future Ticketing in 2020, has since undergone a significant digital overhaul at Seaview Stadium.
Through the integration of the Clover EPOS systems, RFID smart card technology, and a bespoke Ticket Store app, Crusaders has embraced a fully cashless model that allows fans to purchase match tickets, food, and beverages seamlessly through one platform.
Crusaders FC General Manager Bernard Thompson described the renewal as a “tremendous success,” commenting that Future Ticketing’s platform “supports every aspect of our operation, from football, increased spend per head, to concerts and beyond.”
“We are delighted to sign a new long-term deal,” he added. “Future Ticketing has worked closely with us and integrated seamlessly with our other partners to meet the needs of our business. We are currently undertaking further developments aimed at enhancing the spectator experience at Seaview Stadium.”
The partnership has allowed Crusaders to expand its ticketing operations beyond football, streamlining processes for hospitality, corporate events, and live entertainment.
“Crusaders has always been a club that embraces progress. From improving the matchday experience to enabling broader event management,” added Paul Leavy, Client Success Manager at Future Ticketing.
“It’s been a pleasure to support their journey. This renewed agreement is a strong endorsement of our partnership.”
Founded in 1898, Crusaders FC is one of Northern Ireland’s longest established clubs, with 28 senior trophies and a vibrant presence across men’s, women’s, and youth football.
The renewed deal comes amid a period of continued growth for Future Ticketing. The company recently announced new partnerships with Ayr United in the Scottish Championship, Oxford City in England’s National League, and the prestigious Galway Races Summer Festival.
Established in 2015 by Liam Holton and Mark Cotter, Future Ticketing is a global provider of cloud-based ticketing and sales-enabling software. Headquartered in Tullamore, Co Offaly, with offices in Manchester, the firm continues to lead digital innovation in the ticketing space, particularly within Irish football, where it is widely regarded as the premier provider.
