Olytico’s September 2025 analysis of Irish Sport on Social Media captures 12,600 posts, 4.78 million public engagements, and 8.36 million TikTok views.
From world-class success on the track (and on the water) to a single viral moment that dominated engagement charts, the report highlights a 64% surge in overall engagements over the last month.
Today, in the second of four articles on the Social Media metrics from last month, we are focusing on Facebook.
In the infographics below, we have ranked each of the organisations across a range of metrics on each network, including the most active, the most engaged with, and the most engaging content, as well as engagements per 1,000 followers where possible.
It is important to note that this analysis is based on publicly available data. It does not include any analysis or insight into paid or promoted content. When % figures are used (unless otherwise stated), they refer to the previous month’s figures.
Here is how our monthly report coverage will shape up during the week.

The BKT URC (141, +262%) counted down their top tries to the start of the new season, and Canoeing Ireland (29, +81%) celebrated as Sean Butterly became Junior World Champion as he took gold in the Junior K1 Men Long Course at the Marathon World Championships.
;
