Novellus Finance and Flogas have been named as the main commercial backers of the Women’s Irish Challenge, the newest addition to the LET Access Series (LETAS).
The 54-hole professional tournament will take place from 27–29 August 2025 at Malahide Golf Club, with a €45,000 prize fund and a field of 126 players.
It marks the first time Ireland has hosted an event on the LETAS circuit, which serves as the official feeder tour to the Ladies European Tour (LET).
The tournament is being organised by ForeFront Group, the team behind the successful return and growth of the KPMG Women’s Irish Open, and has been hailed as another significant step in the evolution of elite women’s golf on Irish soil.
Novellus Finance joins as Premium Partner. The private lending firm has become a major supporter of the women’s game in recent years, sponsoring top talent including Sara Byrne, Hannah Darling, Annabel Dimmock and Lottie Woad, the latter a rising star who has already notched wins on both the LET and LPGA Tours.
“We are delighted to be assisting with this event,” said Billy McManus, CEO of Novellus Finance.
“Women’s golf is in a really exciting place, and ForeFront continue to lead the way with all they have achieved in growing the KPMG Women’s Irish Open.”
“These events provide unrivalled playing opportunities for the next generation of players coming through, and it’s a privilege to be part of something so positive for the game.”
Joining Novellus is Flogas, an established supporter of Irish golf at all levels. The energy solutions provider extends its sponsorship portfolio with a focus on gender equity in sport.
“Flogas are delighted to be partnering with the Women’s Irish Challenge,” said John Rooney, Managing Director.
“We have a long and proud history of golf sponsorship in Ireland, across men’s, women’s, club and underage tournaments. The Women’s Irish Challenge is an important extension of our commitment to Irish golf.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Novellus Finance and Flogas as key partners,” said Tournament Director, Simon Honan.
“Their backing is vital to bringing this vision to life, and both companies share our passion for empowering women in sport and supporting the next generation of golf talent across Ireland and beyond.”
Additional event sponsors include RYSE Chocolate, with further announcements expected in the run-up to the event.
Set on Dublin’s north coast, Malahide Golf Club provides a scenic yet challenging championship course. The club is famously associated with Ryder Cup legend Philip Walton, and will now play host to Ireland’s next wave of women’s golfing talent.
Tickets are priced at €10, with 50% of proceeds donated to ‘Play In Pink’ in support of the National Breast Cancer Research charity.
