Kinetica Sports has been announced as a Partner of the Hiscox Padel Irish Open, adding another established Irish sports brand to the commercial story around one of the fastest-growing participation sports in the country.

The tournament takes place at St Mary’s College RFC in Templeogue, Dublin from 15–19 July 2026, stepping up this year to FIP Silver status after launching as a FIP Bronze event in Limerick in 2025.

That elevation is an important marker for the sport in Ireland. It brings a higher level of international competition, greater profile, and further evidence that padel is moving quickly from emerging curiosity to a more established part of the Irish sporting landscape.

The partnership is a natural extension for Kinetica of a portfolio that already spans rugby, GAA, cycling, rowing and golf. The Irish-founded sports nutrition brand will provide product support to players and staff across the five-day event.

“Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports globally, and its momentum in Ireland is clear to see,” said Miriam Queally, Brand Manager at Kinetica Sports.

“At Kinetica Sports, we’re committed to supporting athletes with high-quality, trusted nutrition, and we’re delighted to play a role in fuelling the continued growth of the sport.”

The partnership also reflects the increasing attractiveness of padel for brands looking to connect with active, socially engaged and fast-growing sporting communities. The sport’s mix of accessibility, competition and lifestyle appeal has made it a strong fit for sponsors across Europe, and its Irish footprint continues to expand.

Kinetica Sports has built its reputation around quality, taste and scientific rigour, with a range that includes whey protein, creatine, collagen, hydration drinks and daily vitamins. The brand is part of the Informed Sport Programme, with products batch tested within the World Anti-Doping Agency framework.

That credibility is particularly relevant as the Hiscox Padel Irish Open steps up in status and ambition. The move to FIP Silver level places greater emphasis on performance standards, event delivery and athlete support, all areas where nutrition and recovery play an important role.

The Hiscox Padel Irish Open is free to attend, with weekend sessions requiring advance registration at padelirishopen.ie.
