Kerry Group has become an Official Supporter of the 2027 Ryder Cup, adding another major Irish business to the commercial programme surrounding one of the world’s most prestigious sporting events.
The agreement was announced on Tuesday, 13 October, ahead of the competition’s return to Ireland at Adare Manor from 17 to 19 September 2027.
Next year’s staging will mark the centenary of the Ryder Cup, first contested in 1927, and will be the first time the competition has been held in Ireland since Europe’s 2006 victory at The K Club.
Founded in County Kerry in 1972, the business has grown into a global leader in taste and nutrition, working with food and beverage companies across international markets.
More than 1.5 billion people worldwide consume its products and ingredients, giving the company substantial international reach while retaining strong connections to the south-west of Ireland.
Catherine Keogh, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Kerry, said the centenary Ryder Cup offered a chance to strengthen relationships with customers and business partners in the region where the company’s story began.
“This historic occasion gives us a unique opportunity to welcome customers and partners to the place where our own story began,” she said.
Keogh also highlighted the opportunity to showcase Ireland’s heritage, hospitality and innovation.
The Ryder Cup’s commercial programme is built around a mix of major international partners and businesses with strong ties to the host country.
Richard Atkinson, Chief Ryder Cup Officer at the European Tour group, welcomed Kerry’s involvement, pointing to the company’s international presence and Irish roots.
“Kerry’s Irish heritage and international reach make it an ideal partner,” he said, as preparations continue for the competition’s centenary celebrations.
The Ryder Cup will draw hundreds of thousands of spectators to Adare Manor and a global television audience of hundreds of millions.
