Yoplait SKYR has been named as the official yoghurt of the AMGEN Irish Open. The deal will run for an initial three years.

The tournamen will return to the K Club from 4th to 7th September. Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Padraig Harrington, Seamus Power and European Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald are among the players already confirmed to be taking part.

As part of the agreement, Yoplait SKYR will enjoy prominent brand visibility through a wide range of multi-media platforms and on-site activations throughout the duration of the event.

The partnership will also include an interactive Yoplait SKYR breakfast experience for spectators, offering complimentary SKYR breakfast bowls during all four days of the tournament.

Marketed as a 100% natural, fat-free, high-protein dairy product, Yoplait SKYR is promoted as a healthy choice for athletes and health-conscious consumers alike.

“We feel honoured to become the official yogurt of the AMGEN Irish Open for many reasons,” said Deirdre Lowry of Yoplait Ireland, pictured above with Irish professional Conor Purcell and Championship Director Paul Gillmon.

“Yoplait SKYR is the perfect product for athletes of all abilities owing to it being naturally high in protein with 0% fat and low sugar.” ”

Our Yoplait SKYR breakfast experience at the AMGEN Irish Open will be something for all attendees to enjoy over the coming years.”

“We are delighted to welcome Yoplait SKYR to the AMGEN Irish Open family ahead of this year’s event,” added Gillmon.

“The AMGEN Irish Open is not just a golf tournament, but an event for all the family, and having a brand such as Yoplait on board adds to the full experience of what will be an unforgettable visit to The K Club.”
