Basketball Ireland has taken another important step on the road toward full streaming of all its domestic League and Cup matches with the registration going live for the service that will be live in September.

Every game from the InsureMyVan.ie and Miss Quote.ie Super League and Division One will be available, as well as the InsureMyHouse.ie National Cup will be streamed. Making the platform a one-stop shop and a must-have for Irish basketball fans.

Full pricing details will be announced later this month but ticketing options will be varied. Patrons will be able to access individual games along with the option of a season pass, so you won’t have to miss a single shot of your club’s 2022/23 campaign.

The service is being run by Joymo, a Norwegian-based company founded in 2017 which enables sporting rights holders deliver their live content directly to fans.

Basketball Ireland signed a five year deal back in May, covered here on Sport for Business.

The company has secured a number of deals with sporting bodies, clubs, and universities across Scandinavia, Britain, the United States and elsewhere.

With the Leagues expanding here and secure sponsorship in place from InsureMyVan and MissQuote, this is an important addition to what promises to be a real bounce-back season for Basketball.
