Champions Travel has been appointed as an Official Match Partner for the Manchester United v Leeds United fixture taking place at Croke Park on Wednesday, August 12.
The partnership has been agreed in collaboration with the official match promoter, TEG Sport, and Croke Park Stadium, adding a further premium hospitality element to what is expected to be one of the standout football occasions of the summer.
The game will mark the return of elite association football to Croke Park for the first time since November 2009, when the Republic of Ireland faced France in a FIFA World Cup play-off in front of 79,000 supporters.
Sanctioned by the FAI, the fixture is expected to draw a capacity crowd, reflecting the strength of support for both clubs across Ireland and the long-standing ties between Irish football and two of England’s most storied teams.
Manchester United’s Irish connections run deep, with Roy Keane, Denis Irwin, John O’Shea and Frank Stapleton among those to have played defining roles in the club’s modern and historic eras. Leeds United can also point to strong Irish links through Gary Kelly and Ian Harte, while Johnny Giles famously represented both clubs during his playing career.
As Official Hospitality Travel Partner for the match, Champions Travel will offer a range of exclusive hospitality packages, building on its existing official relationships with both Manchester United and Leeds United.
The company will exclusively sell the Davin Lounge Package and the Club House Package for the fixture. Both include either longside or shortside seating, lounge access and pre-match hospitality.
“This is a hugely exciting partnership for Champions Travel and a fantastic opportunity to be involved in such a major occasion at one of the world’s most iconic stadiums,” said Kevin Ward, Owner of Champions Travel.
“We are passionate about creating unforgettable experiences for football fans, and we look forward to delivering exceptional hospitality packages for this incredible fixture.”
TEG Sport and Croke Park Stadium said they were delighted to welcome Champions Travel as an Official Hospitality Travel Partner for the game.
“Their extensive experience in premium football hospitality ensures that fans will enjoy an exceptional match-day experience for this highly anticipated game,” they said.
Further promotions and match-week activations are expected to be announced in the lead-up to the fixture.
