Ryder Cup Europe has announced details of the Official Campsite for the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor, adding a festival-style accommodation option for thousands of fans attending the 100th anniversary staging of the contest.
The campsite will be located in the Mountwilliam area of Adare, adjacent to the fifth fairway of the host venue, giving ticket holders direct access to the course via a dedicated entrance.
It will mean fans staying on site will have only a short walk to Adare Manor as Europe take on the United States in what will be one of the biggest sporting events ever staged on the island of Ireland.
The Official Campsite will be operated by Pink Moon, the company behind camping at Electric Picnic, and will include a range of food and beverage outlets, bathroom and shower facilities, and a programme of entertainment designed to create a festival atmosphere around the event.
All accommodation will be pre-erected and must be pre-booked, with a range of options available depending on the length of stay and the level of camping facility chosen.
Average prices will be €151 per person per night for a seven-night stay and €176 per person per night for a five-night stay. It is expected that between 6,000 and 7,000 people will use the campsite each day during Ryder Cup week.
Bookings will open at 2 pm BST this Thursday, June 11, on a first-come, first-served basis, but only for fans who have already purchased tickets through official Ryder Cup platforms.
A further allocation of campsites will be made available later to fans who are successful in the Ryder Cup ticket ballot, which opened on June 3 and runs until June 29.
“This is the first time we have had an Official Campsite for fans at a Ryder Cup, and not only will it offer a unique chance to stay right next to the venue, I am sure the opportunity to walk to the course and back every day will be additionally appealing,” said Richard Atkinson, Chief Ryder Cup Officer at the European Tour Group.
“From the day we launched our ticketing process in April, we have stressed the importance of making the 2027 Ryder Cup as accessible as possible to as wide a demographic as possible and today’s announcement shows that once again.
“With the additional range of entertainment onsite, which we will announce nearer the time of the contest, it means fans can enjoy a festival-like experience in addition to being part of one of the world’s leading sporting events.”
The 2027 Ryder Cup will take place at Adare Manor in County Limerick from September 13 to 19, marking the second time Ireland has hosted the event after The K Club in 2006.
Europe will arrive in Limerick seeking a third successive victory, following wins at Marco Simone in Rome in 2023 and Bethpage Black in New York in 2025.
Luke Donald, who captained Europe in both of those victories, will again lead the team at Adare Manor, while Jim Furyk will captain the United States for a second time, having previously led the American side at Le Golf National in 2018.
The addition of an official campsite is another indication of the scale of planning around the event, with the Ryder Cup expected to bring major tourism, hospitality and wider economic benefits to Limerick, the Mid-West and Ireland as a whole.
